JKSEOF appeals Guv for regularization

Kathua, Feb 1 : Jammu Kashmir School Education Officers Forum (JKSEOF) has appealed Governor NN Vohra for early regularization of their posts.
According to press release, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur Provincial President and discussed the regularization issue of all incharge school education officers, i.e Joint Directors, CEO's, Principals, ZEO,s Lecturers and headmasters. Forum members appealed Governor NN Vohra to issue directions for implementing SRO 481 of 2010 dated 30-12-2010 of School Education Department, SRO 166, order No 734 of Gen Administration Department and Supreme Court directions.
Officers said that nothing has been done to implement the Said SRO,s and directions as a result three thousand in service I/c officers and more than one thousand retired officers are not regularized & Some have died.
Forum members said that no department promotion committee meeting has been convened since 2007 and under rules every year DPC meeting should be convened to clear the cases of regularization and fixation of seniority.
Thakur in his address appealed all I/c officers to participate in the state level meeting to be held at Jammu on 04-02-2015 in which the Forum leaders of Kashmir and Ladakh will also participate to decide the future course of action. The meeting will be presided over by Ab Qayoom Wani State President of the Forum/ EJAC/JCC . He also requested the retired officers of the department to participate in the meeting who have not been regularized till date so that a common struggle may be launched to seek the justice.
Those prominent present in the meeting were Rakesh Singh Principal, Daleep Dhar ZEO Surjeet Singh, Tara Mani, Bansi Lal, Ashwani Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Pusahap Raj , Pawan Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Manohar Singh, Des Raj, Bodh Raj, Ajeet Dingra, PP singh, Narinder Sharma, Kuldeep raj, Harbans Lal and many others.
