Sources in Health department said that though there was shortage of specialist doctors in all hospitals across state, these specialists have been holding the administrative posts, under patronage of their political masters. "Due to shortage of specialists, government had also engaged retired specialist doctors, who are otherwise without salaries for the last nearly 10 months, but department has failed to utilize the services of these specialists, who have been holding administrative posts", sources said, alleging that huge money exchanged hands to secure these posts and it was only the outcome of deep nexus within Health department. |
