Jammu, Feb 26 : The Jammu Students Morcha strongly flayed Governor N N Vohra, the Chancellor of the University of Jammu, for maintaining killer silence against the prevalent corruption in the Varsity under the patronage of acting Vice Chancellor Prof R D Sharma.
Vikram Kumar, president JSM said, "The Jammu University which comes under the direct control of the Governor has become heaven for the corrupt and tainted officials under the patronage of acting Vice Chancellor, the Chancellor JU was has turned nelson eye towards the prevailing corruption within University of Jammu, ".
"The Governor in his meeting with Vigilance officials has stated that those found guilty in corruption cases would be rewarded premature retirement and there will be zero tolerance against this malpractice, but In JU where he is the supreme authority by virtue of his designation, tainted and officials with shoddy service record having promotions to the key positions but the Chancellor was not matching his words, rued JSM president. |
