Little Millennium Pre School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Mar 3: Little Millennium, a leading Pre School promoted by M/S Edu comp Childcare organized their 5th annual day and graduation ceremony for Roop Nagar and Gandhi Nagar centers in a colourful function at Government College for Women Auditorium Jammu. Mubarak Singh Vice Chairman, JDA was the Chief Guest with Padam Shree Balwant Thakur as Guest of Honour and Rajeshwar Singh AIG Police welfare was the Special Guest in the function which was also attended by S SBijral, Ex IG Police, P.K .Sharma, Chairman, Shitanshu Saxena, Regional Operations Manager from Educomp Child care New Delhi, parents of little angels and prominent citizens of the area. The theme of the event was "Festivals of India "which was portrayed by the children with their vibrant& scintillating performances on the stage. Akhila Magotra the Chief Learning Officer of the schools in her Welcome address delineated that envisioning a Global Society the specialized curriculum of the school with its eclectic and seven petal approach was imbued with a distinct international perspective which was well researched and ably guided by M/S Edu comp Childcare. She also gave brief a brief presentation of the activities of both the schools at Gandhi Nagar and Roopnagar. It was emphasized that festivals were strongly knitted in the culture of India and it was a small endeavor of the little angels of the school to reinforce the importance of festivals which we were slowly forgetting due to invasion of social media & technology in our families. The little learners mesmerized with their performances on Ganesh Vandana depicting the Ganesh Festival, Shivratri, Janamashtami, EId and Christmas. But the show stealer was the depiction of Ramayan by the little ones in run up to performances on Dusshera and Diwali.The Chief Learning Officer also placed on record her sincere appreciation for the parents of the Little Millennium Angels who always provided a healthy criticism and constructive feedback with support for the radical curriculum of the school and acted as Ambassadors for Little Millennium Brand.
Balwant Thakur while addressing the gathering appreciated the thematic presentations of the school children and congratulated the management for selecting culturally relevant themes to sensitize the little ones at early stage of their life so as to nurture them in developing as good human beings with respect for culture and heritage. He also elaborated that the performances of the little ones had taken every one present down the memory lane to their childhood days when every moment was a celebration.
The eventful day ended with the Graduation ceremony and prize distribution function, which was an emotional moment for the parents seeing their children dressed smartly in the graduation coats and being felicitated by the Chief Guest &Guest of Honor who wished success to the Little Millennium angels in their formal Schooling. The proceedings of the function were conducted by Insha Ahmad Learning Officer of the Roopnagar centre.
