Early Times Report Jammu , Mar 3 : Terming the budget 2015 has totally anti students, All India Students Federation (AISF) J&K senior leader Comrade Mukesh Parihar said that by reducing the allocation of funds in Education sector has shocked the general masses in general and student community in particular. According to press release, Parihar said that in earlier the budget of School education was 55,115 crore but now the Central Govt has reduced it to 42,219. This 23% reduction in budget will ruin the education system as already the budget was very low. The schools are still without proper infrastructure, equitable accommodation and lack of staff, which is of great concern for the education sector. Also in Higher education the budget has been reduced by 3% from earlier 27,656 crore 26,855 crore annually. Parihar further added that for children there is sharp decline in funds allocation. For children the budget has been reduced by 56% from 19,510 to 8,652 crore which is very shocking. This anti education policy of Central Government is of great concern for the future of the country as well as for society. |
