JAMMU, Mar 4: Minister for Forest, Ecology, Environment and Social Welfare, Bali Bhagat today assumed the charge of the office. On the occasion, the Minister affirmed to work with sincerity and honesty for the welfare and prosperity of the State.
On the occasion, number of people from various walks of life besides government functionaries of the Departments called on the Minister and felicitated him for assuming the charge. Interacting with people on the occasion, the Minister asserted that strenuous efforts would be made for socio -economic transformation of the weaker sections of the society. He said that the welfare Schemes launched by Centre and State Governments would be implemented with great vigour. "It should be ensured that benefits of welfare Schemes reach the deserved and needy" he maintained. |
