Srinagar, Mar 5: Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) today commissioned two more ATMs, at Kaddar and Arwani, in district Kulgam and also conducted District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting at Baramulla. According to press release, the Bank's Zonal Head Kashmir (South) Mushtaq Ahmad Mir inaugurated the Automated Tellers Machines (ATM) in presence of bank's valuable customers, traders and senior citizens of both the areas. Cluster Head Malik Shabir Ahmad and other bank officials were also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, to review achievements under Annual District Credit Plan 2014-15, the bank convened a District Level Review Committee meeting of Baramulla at Dak Bunglow Baramulla under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Talat Parvez. District Manager, Baramulla informed the house about the achievements made under District Credit Plan 2014-15 till December 31, 2014. He said, "The achievement as on December 31, 2014 stood at Rs 422.32 crore out of which Rs 145.76 crore were disbursed under Agriculture sector, Rs 114.77 crore under micro and small enterprise, Rs 12.24 crore under Service Sector, Rs 149.55 crore were disbursed under non-priority sector." Under District Credit Plan 2014-15, Baramulla has recorded an achievement of 28% by disbursing an amount of Rs.422.32 Crore among 20,221 under various schemes, he added. The House was informed that under PMJDY the Banks have covered 618 villages covering 119623 households. |
