HC stays order regarding FIR against ZEO Thathri 3/26/2015 11:44:42 PM Jammu, Mar 26: In a much publicized suspension of ZEO Thathri and also direction for registration of FIR against ZEO Thathri who was allegedly involved in misappropriation of SSA funds in the erstwhile Doda district, Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir of J&K High Court Jammu Wing issued notice to the state and meanwhile stayed the order of Director School Education DSE) to the extent it provides registration of FIR. This direction has been passed in a petition filed by Farid Ahmed Fani seeking quashment of the order No.95-DSEJ of 2015 dtd 24-03-2015 issued by respondent No.2 whereby the petitioner has been placed under suspension and Director School Education further directed the respondent No.6 to register FIR at Police Station Thathri against the petitioner, which is being illegal/arbitrary and has been issued by the respondent No.2 without jurisdiction in contravention of Rule 31 of J&K Classification, Control and Appeal Rules.
