Unemployed Pharmacists seek jobs, highlight various demands

Doda, Mar 27 : The unemployed pharmacists of Doda under the banner "Unemployed Pharmacists Association' (UPA) today appealed Jammu and Kashmir Government to formulate a special employment policy to provide the jobs under NRHM and JK SSRB. As per press statement, the demands were raised at a meeting of the unemployed pharmacists of the District which was held under the chairmanship of its President Javed Iqbal Sheikh. The meeting highlighted various demands which included adjustment of all trained unemployed pharmacists under NRHM Scheme and filling up of all vacant posts of pharmacist in health department.
Speaking on the occasion, Javed Iqbal Sheikh said that pharmacy is an important part of the health department and are equally capable of serving the needs of humanity.
The members appealed the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and State Health Minister Ch Lal Singh to intervene into the matter personally and pay attention towards the genuine demands of the Unemployed Pharmacists.
