Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 31: Former state President and Senior Leader of Bahujan Samaj Party Tulsi Dass Langeh expressed serious concern over denial of admission in the private educational institutions, to the children of common man, under privileged sections of the society BPL. He said that the people have staged protest against state government and management of private educational institutions, but no action has been taken by the Government against erring administration of private schools in Jammu. "On the other side in various Govt. educational institutions, either acute shortage of teaching staff inspite of good strength of students or in some government educational institutions surplus teaching staff in the city, town and easily approachable road side educational institutions, because there is no transparency in posting/transfer policy of teaching staff in education department", he said. He further said that, some of the government educational institutions are without infrastructure. "In such circumstances, the children of common man, under privileged section of the society, BPL are not in a position to continue their education. In this way 75% children of the nation are denied education", he said and added that hence in such prevailing situation, there is only alternative before the govt. The custodian of the nation, that education should be nationalized and it should be the responsibility of the government to educate the children of the nation providing equal opportunities to all irrespective of religion, cast, color and creed. |
