BMS meets Labour Commissioner 4/17/2015 11:34:50 PM Jammu, Apr 17: A deputation of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) under the leadership of Harbans Choudhary today called on Labour Commissioner Vipra Bhal and apprised her of functioning of provident fund offices in Jammu Region. During its interaction, deputation brought into the notice of the P F commissioner alleging that there is pick and chose policy in settling PF cases by the concerned officials. Those who pursue their cases as per rules have to wait for year while those who grease their palms manage to sort out their cases at the earliest. Harbans Choudary further informed that on number of occasion cases are misplaced and demanded that the cases should be settled one first come first bases and in case of emergency the head of the office has to give permission in writing and concerned dealing clerks be made accountable for their lapses. He also suggested that transfer of P F accumulation in new account be made simple as the present system of filling of form 13 is very tedious and subscriber think better to withdraw the even smallest amount and further demanded that payment should be make on line to subscriber account. The commissioner gave patient hearing and assured that she has already taken some steps and will also consider these points in coming days.
