JAMMU, April 18: State senior women hockey team today left for participation in the Vth Hockey India Senior Women's Championship to be held at Safie in Uttar Pradesh from April 20 to April 29.
Earlier, the team was flagged off by working president of Hockey J&K, Additional Director General of Police, SM Sahai at K K Hakhu Stadium, here. The ADGP was accompanied by vice present and Inspector General of Police, Mukesh Singh and other office bearers of the Association and hockey coaches.
Team is accompanied by Asha Rani and Joginder Singh as manager and coach respectively.
The Team: Baljit Kour, Chitra, Anjali, Radha Rani, Amandeep Kour, Sunita Rani, Menakshi Khajuria, Barkha Sharma, Urvashi Sharma, Afshana Khatoon, Sita Sharma, Rishu, Prabhleen Kour, Shallu Mehra and Rashleen Kour. |
