JAMMU, Apr 18: A delegation of KAS Officers' Association called on the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, here today.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister was briefed by the President of the Association, M H Malik, about their long-pending demands, which include cadre review, posting of officers from KAS cadre as Secretary to Government and establishment of housing colonies for KAS officers, both at Jammu and Srinagar.
Mufti Sayeed assured the delegation that he will examine and take necessary steps in resolving the issues raised by the Association.
The General Secretary of the Association, Dr. G. N. Itoo, Treasurer, Dr. Ravi Shanker Sharma, Publicity Secretary, Suraj Rakwal, and members, Tariq Ganai, Babila Rakwal, Arvind Kotwal, Rajinder Singh Tara and Bashir Ahmad Lone also attended the meeting. |
