KATRA, Apr 18: N N Vohra, Governor, who is Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME) at Kakryal and undertook a detailed review of the to-date status of various infrastructure facilities and other components of this upcoming Multi-Speciality Hospital. Accompanied by Dr. S. S. Bloeria and Mr. H. L. Maini, Members of the Shrine Board; Mr. P.K. Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. M. K. Bhandari, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB; Dr. M. K. Kumar and Mr. B. Mohandaas, Additional CEOs; Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Chief Accounts Officer; SMVDSB; Dr. Raghuvanshi, Vice Chairman, Narayana Hrudayalaya Pvt. Ltd.; Bangalore, Brig. (Retd) Man Mohan Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer, SMVDIME; Dr. Vinod Gupta, Director Medical Services, SMVDSB; Dr. S. P Singh; Mr. Subhash Gupta, Superintending Engineer; and officers and engineers of the Shrine Board, the Governor inspected the main Hospital building, the under-construction residential complex adjacent to it and the other components of this flagship project of the Shrine Board. The nine residential accommodation buildings, which are under construction in the area adjoining the Hospital complex, shall provide hostel and residential accommodation for doctors, para-medical staff, nurses, an inn for attendants of patients and a guest house for visiting doctors. Dr. Bhandari informed the Governor about the micro level planning in place for undertaking fire safety measures, hospital waste management disposal, water and power supply, installation of CCTV Cameras, provision of STP, etc. It is pertinent to mention that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has executed an Agreement with Narayana Hrudayalaya Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, for the operation of this Multi-Speciality Hospital, which is planned to be commissioned later this year. Among those who were also present on the occasion included Mr. Rajinder Singh, Officer on Special Duty, (Revenue) and Mr. Rajan Gupta, Executive Engineer of the Shrine Board. |
