Jammu, Apr 19: Parivartan -NGO alongwith the collaboration of department of Indian System of Medicine (ISM) organized a medical cum awareness camp here at government High School, Raipur (Kot-Bhalwal), Jammu. The camp was held under the supervision of Dr Jitender Kumar (Medical Officer, ISM Dispensary), Raipur, Dr Harmeet Singh and Vijay Kumar Bhat, Pharmacist. The camp was inaugurated by principal, government high School, Raipur, Sat Pal Sharma in the presence of other staff members of school. During the camp more than two Hundred students were provided free consultancy by the expert team of ISM doctors. Free medicines and blood sugar test were also conducted on the occasion. Addressing on the occasion, principal of the school, Sat Pal Sharma expressed the gratitude to the entire team of Parivartan for organizing such camp during which the specialist doctors provided free medical checkup , free medicines among the poor and needful children of the school. Later the team members also distributed some books for children`s primary education. In his address, Chairman, Parivartan said with a mission to help the down trodden people of the society, their NGO has been organizing such type of medical camps with the support of Indian Systems of Medicines organized a free medical camps in the far flung areas, so that these people and children can also get better medical treatment. He further highlighted the future programme of their NGO and hailed the principal and other staff members of the school for providing their full support to organizing the free medical camp in the school premises. Among others who were present on the occasion, included Rajinder Singh (President), Udhay Bhaskar (Vice-President), Vishal Targotra (Treasurer), Vijay Sharma, Joginder, Naresh, Ashish Kapoor, Sahil Sharma, Rohit Sharma and others. |
