Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 19: J&K People's Democratic Trade Union demanded the arrest of Tara Chand, Ex-Education Minister and all the subordinate staff of Education department working for befooling and betraying with Teacher's community.
In a statement issued here, district president Jasmeet Singh Madaan alleged they also diverted the funds and schemes of flagship programmes for their pecuniary benefits and henceforth brought J&K on threshold of disaster and embarassed because of worst performance.
"It is a matter of great concern that the report received from the Ministry's consultant for J&K has shown the performance of SSA and RMSA schemes as worst, this all has been happened due to the diversion of funds under different components for extraneous consideration or the use of no money because the utilisation of that money may not helped the rulers of this department any profit. " he stated.
It is pertinent to mention that J&K Govt. has to appoint Post Graduate Masters at the consolidated salary of Rs. 27160/-. But to utter disregard of the guidelines, rules and regulations were flouted and many departmentally promoted Masters were posted in these schools as Master's Grade and the present mess of non-disbursement of salaries started at this point. J&K Govt was getting the grant Rs. 27160/- per master and the Education Deptt. start disbursing salary to these Masters after a gap of nearly three months.
He further alleged that Tara Chand and his henchmen who have openly looted the department with impunity and they are the traitors of Education Department in particular and J&K State in general and should be booked for misleading, befooling, witholding, embezzling and diverting the Central Govt. funds at their whims and fancies with no body from the State or Centre to question them because in State it was their Cong- NC regime and at Centre it was Congress who was ruling the roost and put a Nelson's eye towards this looting.
He appealed to Chief Minister Mufti Mohamned Sayeed and Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh is requested to come forward and solve the salary issue of RETs and RMSA Masters besides grants by personally requesting and meeting Smriti Irani, HRD Minister, Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister and Narinder Modi, Prime Minister to release the grants for salary and other.
