Kathua, Apr 20: School Education Employees Officers Coordination Committee (SEEOCC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Thakur Provincial President of the forum to discuss the burning demands including regularization of all I/c Education Officers & Lecturers. As per press release, the meeting also highlighted other demands of committee like release of salary of teachers working under SSA, RMSA, NPS, KGBV, and other schemes, reorganization of the department, stopping mass promotions policy of the Govt up to 9th class to achieve quality education, rational and transparent transfer policy without political and bureaucratic interference , conducting of enquiry of all primary schools opened under SSA since 2003 till date as most of the schools have been closed due many reasons in the state, running grade to +2 lecturers and restoration of 40% quota in the college etc. Participants in the meeting said that teachers working under centrally sponsored schemes like SSA, RMSA, KGVB are without salary for the last ten months which is the violation of the employees rights as their families are at starvation, their 3rd and 4thinstallments of 6th pay commission have not been adjusted as well, it is the negligence of education authorities and finance department that the teachers are protesting for salaries for last ten months. Those who participated in the meeting include Mohammad Sadiq, Bharat Bhushan, Babu Ram, Romesh Singh, Tara Mani, Surjeet Singh, Parveen Singh and Manohar Singh. |
