| A complete revolt like situation took place in Kashmir wherein Hurriyat hardliners, Masrat Alam and others hoisted not only the Pakistani flags but raised anti-India slogans in the open, after long break. The situation has worsened in the valley and had the government taken the cognizance of the intelligence inputs, the things would have been different. This was done in the open where security forces and Jammu and Kashmir police were just mute-onlookers. It seems that those heading the government are responsible for revolt like situation in the valley as they have a soft corner for both separatists as well as Pakistan. The situation in Jammu and Kashmir is deteriorating day by day and it will be only contained when the movement of separatists and terrorist are curbed unless every such element that raises his head against the country and takes law into his hands, is put to behind bars, situation will never improve.
On the return of All Party Hurriyat Committee (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani from Delhi on 14-04-2015, the Separatist amalgam organized a rally to receive him after spending the winter in New-Delhi. In this rally provocative and seditious slogans were raised by the supporters of the group which were led among others by Masrat Alam.
It was the Masrat Alam who himself instigated the crowd by hoisting anti-national flag and shouting pro-Pak and anti-India Slogans. It is evident from video footage that the said individual was involved in leading the crowd to raise anti-national slogans and hoist Pak flags. Alam Masrat himself was found raising such slogans and thereby instigating the crowd to follow him. For his seditious activities, Masrat Alam was arrested is in police custody. Besides Hurriyat conference leaders including hardline H.C Chairman SAS Geelani were house arrested. Masrat Alam was booked under unlawful activities (prevention) act for raising pro-pak slogans in a rally organized by Hurriyat Conference leaders to welcome Geelani.
Masrat Ali and Geelani were placed under house arrest to prevent them from leading rallies towards Tral area of South Kashmir. The arrest came hours ahead H. C Chariman SAS Geelani's call for a march to Tral where two youth were killed in an Army operation. The army is maintaining that they were militants and killed in a gunbattle. Geelani called for shutdown in the valley against killing of the youth at Tral, arrest of Masrat Alam and what he called "biased and provoking coverage by Indian media".
Forty five year old Masrat Alam, the rabid pro-Pakistan activist walked out of jail last month after remaining internal for four years in the past. It is surprising for the common people under what circumstances Masarat was leased even when criminal cases were pending against him. Jammu & Kashmir police had found him the key figure in leading a stone pelting of Srinagar youth in 2010 in which about a hundred youth had to pay with their precious lives. State Govt. ordered release of Masarat Alam with our prior information to the centre or to the coalition partner.
Masrat Alam was a conspicuous figure among the posse of recipients. The crowds ran into frenzy as Gilani appeared. Fire brand rabid including Masrat Alam ventured outright anti-India slogans and tantrum; something has become the article of faith for the fanatics in Srinagar. In a state of frenzy and passion, Pakistan flag was hoisted on the occasion and the crowd yelled slogans hailing the event of hoisting the flag. In his vitriolic Masrat Alam exuded encomiums for his ideological mentor, Hafiz Sayed, the Chief of Lashkar-i-Taiyyaba an organization that is spreading armed Jihad in Kashmir. On 18th of April 2015 on T.V Talk in Pakistan, he declared that we will fight along with our army and other Jihed's groups to liberated the Kashmir from Indian clutch's and the people of Pakistan is ready to defend the Indian army pressure. He praised Masrat Alam for his activities against India and promised him that every Pakistani and Jihedi groups are behind him.
Pakistan is an enemy country because apart from waging three wars, it is deeply pursuing a proxy war with India in Kashmir for last two decades and more. Lakhs of Kashmiri Pandis were migrated from their native places and settled in Jammu and other parts of the Country without any their fault. The P.O.K migrants became the victims of their gun and thousands of the people have killed owing to the unleashing of violence and gunfire by Pakistani agents infiltrating into Indian territory with the motive of subversion.
Masrat Alam and others of his ilk have to understand that for the sake of preserving her secular and democratic dispensation as enshrined in the constitution, Indian states does not hesitate to confront her adversaries very adequately. History of Indo-Pak relations is replete with answer to these questions. He may do and say whatever he likes, but he cannot escape from the harsh reality that Jammu and Kashmir will remain part of the Indian Union until eternity. No power on this earth can snatch away from India. The might of the state will speak when it has to speak. However Indian's real power lies not in her iron muscle but in the solidarity and sovereignty of her people.
It is important to note that anti-India activities were taking place in Jammu and Kashmir when the B.J.P collation government is in-power in the border state, party will have to answer for that. The activities in Jammu and Kashmir have torn into B.J.P's plank of nationalism and patriotism, besides it stand to strengthen foundation of the state and the country the party is making all sorts of compromises on issues about which has been known. It is a matter of serious concern that such anti-national activities took place in the state and is totally against the interest of state and against the interest of nation and the people of state in particular. The question arise here, who gave permission to organize such rally and when Pakistani flags were openly waging and anti-Indian slogans had been raised, why police authorities did not take action against Masrat Alam and his supporters participating in the rally, it raised many questions against the ruling party. It is quite clear that entire leadership in the centre, may it be Congress, B.J.P or other parties for abetting, aiding and assisting the criminal, corrupt and anti-India leadership in Jammu and Kashmir, so that Jammu and Kashmir burns once again and the leader in Delhi and State shall cheer and share all loot by Kashmiri leaders. Aasiya Inderabee Dikhtaran-e-Millat-Chairperson also supported the strike call given by Separatists, appealed people to hold valley wide protests. She thanked Pakistan for showing deep concern for Kashmir movement.
Geelani saidTehreek-E-Hurriyat has a clear and unambiguous policy and "we openly challenge the India's military control in Kashmir". "Our goal is to continue the struggle till a single solider of India is present on the soil of Jammu and Kashmir. But for a Common Kashmiri, is in favour of a sustainable resolution that would ensure the safety of his family and feed their belly twice a day. He considers himself ridiculed when his teenage boy conveys to him "Baba-paga-chhu-hartal" (dad, is it shutdown tomorrow). Most of the people who were persuaded by the separatists, to be part of the armed struggle were either poor, mentally, immature or had adventurous religious tendencies. Most of them are unaware of their mandate. They are given perks to struggle, not for their land or their people but for the people preparing them.
Talking about the separatists, they are losing the relevance day by day. Their lessening popularity can be attributed by their self interest, fame and name. Yasir Malik started the use of bullet against India in 1989 and then renounced the use of militancy in 1995. By 1995, he stressed upon Gandhian way of struggle. In 2013 again, he shared the dais with Hafiz Syed, a muslim extremist, who can stop him oscillating? Geelani on the other hand, has been steadfast, in his approach but his approach has loopholes too. The frequent shutdown, calls given by him are badly affecting the lower and middle class. He is also not able to clear it to the people whether he is fighting for a legal battle or a religious one. Mirwaiz Omar Farok has refuted his policy, and the split has created in a separate sect of Hurriyat Conference and Hurriyat (M). In short we can say that they have no sympathy to the people of Kashmir nor want them to live peacefully. Most of the Kashmiri wish to continue with India basing their opinion on the fact that India is more superior to Pakistan economically with manifold GDP growth and foreign exchange.
The whole nation is in deep anger regarding the latest happenings of state and the most condemnable part of the story is that why B.J.P has maintained criminal silence over this issue and even compromised on the ideology of B.J.P and principles of Dr. Shama Prasad Mukerjee. The Separatists security should be withdrawn immediately and they should be exposed before the masses.
