Jammu, Apr 20 : The J&K wrestling team consisting of 21 players/officials left for Jarkhand today, to participate in 34th boys free style Grecco Roman & 17th female Junior National Championship 2015 , 34th Boys Free Style Gerco Roman Style & 18th Girls sub- Junior (Cadet) National Wrestling Championship-2015 being organized by Jharkhand Wrestling Association at Ganpat Rai Indoor Stadium Hotwar Ranchi (Jharkhand) from 23rd to 26th April-2015. The team has earlier being selected by J&K Wrestling Association and J&K Sports council.
Abdul Qayoom, Chief sports officer of J&K State Sports council and Ajay Vaid, General Secretary J&K Wrestling Association have briefed the teams before the departure with warm wishes and hoping best performance from the team in the said tournament.
The team consisted of the following players/officials, Juniors: Vishal Singh, Rahul Sharma, Sahil Sharma , Muneer Ahmad, Lovekesh, Ishaq Ahmad , Sanjay and the Seniors included, Ajay, Gourav Kumar, Anil Choudhary, Suresh Kumar, Sahil Kumar, Shami Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Amandeep Bahudar Khan, Danuk Mansotra and Surinder Manhas. The officials included Ajay Bharthi(Coach), Sukh Dev Singh(Coach) and Mohd Akram (Manager).
The prominent among others present there were Pardeep Sharma (Bajrangi Akhara Jammu) Raju Sharma (Treasurer), Swaran Lal Raj Kumar Dhreej Sharma (Coach) and Mohd Sadiq (official) among there were present on the occasion. |
