| BJP MLC Vibodh Gupta hounored at Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 24: Member Legislative Council (MLC) and State Vice President Bhartiya Janta Party Advocate Vibodh Gupta today was felicitated by prominent citizens of Rajouri-Poonch in a felicitation ceremony held at Jammu Club.
The felicitation function was presided over by Speaker J&K legislative assembly Kavinder Gupta while Ashok Koul, organizational secretary BJP, ParshotamDadechi, General Secretary RSS, Daljit Singh Chib, Vice chairman KisanVikas Board and AnjumManhas, IGP (Retd) were the guests of honour.
In his presidential address, Kavinder Gupta, thanked Rajouri-poonch community for honouring him and assure the people to have full faith in BJP leadership and promises made to the Jammu region shall be full filled in a time bound manner. He said that people of Poonch and Rajouri have sacrificed their lives for nation but they have not received justice. However he said that they will play their role in providing justice to the people. He also appreciated Vibodh Gupta for his pro people activities and wish him every success in his mission.
Meanwhile Ashok Koul organizational secretary BJP said that party will continue to work for the welfare of people and appreciated the efforts of Vibodh Gupta who is putting his tireless efforts to bring all the people together under one umbrella.
Seeking support from affluent people from the region, Advocate Vibodh Gupta said if NRI people can contribute for the development of the people of India, why people of RajouriPoonch who are residing outside the area cannot do this. He said that retired officers, bureaucrats, police officers, lawyers, technocrats, politicians and others who belong to PirPanjal area must come forward and contribute as an economic booster for this region. MLC Vibodh Gupta expressed his gratitude to the Rajouri-poonch civil society for honouring him and BJP leadership for their support and he pledged to strengthen the tradition of composite and moderate culture of RajouriPoonch which has been maintained by the people who are nationalist to the core and never joined hands with the separatist and fascist forces. He affirmed his commitment to work for the development of infrastructure and tourism in the region gifted with its beautiful landscapes comprising seven peer Panjal lakes and pilgrimage sites like Shri Budda Amarnath, Shahdra Sharief, NooriChhamb, Ram Kund, Nangali Sahib.
