GMS Narwal boys win U-14 kabaddi title Inter-school competitions of Satwari, Miran Sahib Zone 4/28/2015 12:11:47 AM JAMMU, Apr 27: Government Middle School Narwal Pain won the under-14 boys kabaddi title in the inter-school competition of Satwari zone, organised by Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, started today at Government Higher School, Jammu Cantonment, here in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Wrestling. In the kabaddi final, Narwal Pain defeated Government Middle School Banhuwala 26-10. Jogeshwar and Akash remained best scorers from the winning side. The competition was declared open by Headmaster, Nirmal Raina in a simple and well attended function. The competition is being held under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer. Around 150 boys drawn from various institution of Zone Satwari are taking part in the competition. The Detailed Results: Kabaddi: U-14: Semifinal: Government High School Old Satwari bt Government High School Satwari 9-7. Sumit and Rakesh were scorers. St. John's Convent bt Government High School Lachmanpur 11-05. Under-17: Government HSS Mandal bt Government HS Sohanjana 23-20. Volleyball: Under-14: Government High School Jammu Cantonment bt Government bt MS Narwal Pain 2-0. Under-17: Banyan International School bt St. John's Convent 2-0. MIRAN SAHIB: Meanwhile, inter-school boys competition of Miran Sahib zone in four events of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volley Ball and Wrestling declared open by Headmaster, Government Boys High School Simbal Camp, Kiran Bala. The competition is supervised by Zonal officer, Sarita Pandha. The Results: Kho-Kho U-14: Government GHS Simbal bt Government HS Kotli Shah Dulla 7-3; MMS Indian PS bt JKPP Miran Sahib 3-1. Kho-Kho U-17: Girls HS Simbal Camp bt New National HSS 9-4; JKPP Miran Sahib bt Government HS Kotli Shah Dulla 14-06. Kabaddi U-14: Government High School Basti Govind Pora bt Government MS Rattian 28-11; MMS Indian PS bt Government MS Kotli Arjun Singh 26-19.
