Jammu, Apr 27: The locals of Gorkha Nagar, Bahu Fort have paid their rich tribute to the victims of Nepal earthquake and also prayed for the wellbeing of their relatives. Hundreds of local's resident of Gorkha Nagar, who actually haling from Nepal and living in Jammu since Maharaja's era assembled at local temple and paid rich tributes to the victim of Nepal earthquake. The locals observed 2 minute silence and also wished for their speedy recovery of injured persons. Rashi Ram, a priest in Gorkha Nagar temple-who hails from Gorkha district in Nepal and his wife Padma, who two sons still untraced after devastating earthquake also presented on the occasion .Meanwhile, prominent social worker Aditi Sharma, president of Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT) interacted with the locals and shared their grief. She collected the data from families, who relatives or family members are missing. Speaking on the occasion, Aditi assured that Trust will take the matter of locating missing person's ion priority with state government and Prime Minister Office. "Trust will take up the issue on priority, and ensure that all the resident of J&K evacuated safe," she said.
