Jammu, Apr 27: Senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East Constituency, Rajesh Gupta on today visited Mohalla Upper Kanji House falling in Ward No. 7 of Jammu East Constituency here in context with the laying work of tiles. According to press release, the residents warm welcome to the MLA and thanked him for his eagerness in completing the developmental works which were stalled due to lackadaisical attitude of preceding dispensation. They said that they are delighted to see their representative taking so much pain in mitigating their day to day problems. Acknowledging the warmth and hospitality of the people, Rajesh assured that soon Jammu East Constituency will be transformed into a model constituency. After kick-starting the developmental work, Rajesh said that considering overwhelming support of the people he is sure that it is now matter of short duration when people of this State will see the sea-change in the developmental front of this constituency. Responding to his remarks, the locals thanked him for the promptness and concern shown in their favour. Later, they highlighted some of the local issues to which he responded very positively and assured that he will consider the same at the earliest. AEE Zubair, President Hari Market Association Rajesh Raina, President Lower Raghunath Bazaar Association Rajeev Gupta, Gummat Association President Naresh Mahajan and Chairman Ashwani Gupta, Ex-corporator Gulshan Mahajan, Ward No. 7 President Surinder Anand were also present on the occasion. The MLA was accompanied by Naresh, Ramesh Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Gobind Sareen, Charanjeet, Sunil Sharma, Karan, Dalip Gupta, Rajesh, Rajinder, Rajkumar, Chaman Lal, Pardeep Sharma, Balraj, Harjang Singh, Gopal, Amit and Vinay. Later, Rajesh Gupta along with commissioner JMC Soujanya Sharma held an extensive tour of Ward no. 19 Qasim Nagar and ward no. 15 Mohalla Pratap Garh and listened to the grievances of the residents. After interacting with the residents both Rajesh and Soujanya assured that the problems highlighted by the residents will be dealt soon to ensure speedy redressal. |
