BJP expresses gratitude to industrial organisations 5/4/2015 12:28:23 AM JAMMU, May 3: Expressing gratitude to the traders and Industrialists for participating in an interaction programme, BJP Industry Cell State Convener Ch. Vikram Randhawa, BJP Trade Cell Convenor Kulbhushan Mohtra and State Executive Member Sanjay Nagpal said that whatever was narrated by these people about their problems and grievances will be looked into by the party and taken up with the government in the state for early solutions. Addressing a joint press conference at party headquarters on Sunday, Randhawa, Mohtra and Nagpal said that the massive participation of the traders and industrialists in the interaction programme and putting their view points before the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh and MLAs Sat Sharma CA and Rajesh Gupta needs applaud from party as it served a platform and opportunity to have right information about their problems. The BJP leaders said that the common complaint of the traders was that after extending rail link to Katra, the business in Jammu City has suffered and there is an urgent need to work on other projects to attract tourists. The industrialists stressed upon the Deputy CM, who is also Power Minister, that regular supply of electricity should be ensured so that the industry works regularly. They also asked for upgradation of the power system. The Deputy CM gave them assurance to look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest. They said that the genuine demands of the business community like early completion of Mubarak Mandi Heritage complex, conversion of Apsra Road Market into commercial hub, grant of ownership rights of the leased land for industry, permission for construction of first and 2nd floors in Ware House Complex, running of battery cars to pick garbage, modernization of JMC, separate ware house and logistic facilities outside city etc. have been brought into the notice of Deputy CM and the party will ensure that the government takes these problems and demands on priority and steps are taken for early redressal.
