| Stop levy of toll plaza tax before completion of HW | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 3: Anil Pachiala working president of Congress District Udhampur criticize in the National Highway Authority for starting levying toll tax at Ban Toll Plaza in between Udhampur Jammu National Highway before completion of remaining stretches at National Highway between Udhampur Jammu.
While addressing mammoth of gathering including daily passengers and transporters Pachiala said that no doubt this new four lane National Highway will open doors of development but till date many stretches remain incomplete and under such a situation, the toll plaza & national highway authorities don't have a right to levy toll.
He further said that apart from unconstructed stretches National Highway authorities ignore the public rights like lane & drains in touching areas which disturbed the residents of nearby due to construction of National Highway. Apart from the fact that due to constructing National Highway many nallhas diverted.
While constructing National Highway geography of many ups and down of the road change as per need of the Highway which also prove to be obstacle to the nearby residents daily routine.
Pachiala, appealed the State Govt. and Central Govt. to stop levy of toll tax at Ban toll Plaza with immediate effect up to the time completion of National Highway & solution of problems of nearby residents directly affected with National Highway so that the phase of remaining works speed up & problems solved. |
