Doda, May 5: With the aim to reach every pregnant lady and to provide her better health care, the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and Norway India Partnership Initiative (NIPI) under the supervision of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt of India and National Health Mission Jammu and Kashmir, today launched Swasthya Slate Project in a simple and impressive function at Health Block Ghat of District Doda. ANMs from around 19 Sub Centres, 4 PHCs and 8 ADs participated in the two days Training in the occasion. The traning on this occasion was given under the supervision of Dr Vijender Jeph along with Varun Rana, Dharminder Singh, Prerna Sharma, Shraddha Arora and Ankit Kumar wherein they imparted training to all ANMs about handling Swasthya Slate. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Vijender Jeph highlighted the various objectives of this project which will help ANMs while doing ANC of pegnant lady. Dr Jeph said that Swasthya Slate is a bluetooth enable kit that perform various basic health cheks ups which includes body temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood haemoglobin, heart rate, urine protein tests and many more. Further he added that Swasthya Slate is a tool that can help in the delivery of RMNCH service. |
