Jammu, May 23 : JK Public School, Kunjwani organized CBSE Sahodaya School Complex Inter School Karate Tournament, today. Around 129 students from 13 schools participated in the age group of 8-17 years. The categories were Sub Junior Boys and Girls and Junior Boys and Girls. Sub Junior Group comprised of students from 8-13 years, Cadets were between 14 and 15 years and Junior Category 16-17 years. The tournament was inaugurated by Gautam Daluja, Member of Management, JK Educational Society and Brig Sukhdev Singh, Director, JK Educational Society. Other dignitaries present were Rohini Aima, Principal, Jammu Sanskriti School, Rama Jamwal, Vice Principal, Stephens International School, Suman Bambah, Principal, JK Public School, Panjtirthi and Col. Kapil Dev, Principal, Sainik School. The contestants fought very competitively and won a lot of accolades for their schools. The proud winners of tournament were awarded medals by Raj Daluja, Chairman, JK Educational Society and Sara Daluja. The Chairman blessed the students and said that such competitions were very important for the all round development of the students. JK Public School Kunjwani were the overall winners and GD Goenka Public School were the first runners up. |
