PHE Contractors meet Minister, highlight issues 5/24/2015 12:40:22 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 23: Several contractors today appealed to minister for PHE Sukh Nandan Chowdary to instruct the department to issues tenders for manual drilling of hand pumps in Kashmir division. A delegation of contractors told that they were holding valid licenses for drilling the earth for hand pumps manually from last many years and have drilled scores of hand pumps successfully. For some months authorities are only using machines to drill the earth. It has rendered us and scores of laborious attached with us jobless," they said.
