| RR Bn organizes polio camp | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Delta Force, in collaboration with Narayan Sewa Sansthan, a renowned NGO based at Udaipur organized 'Polio & Birth Deformity Camp' at Banihal today. The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion organised and facilitated the movement of the team of doctors of the NGO and establised the makeshift camp with active participation of civil administration for the noble cause. A total of 500 patients were screened on the first day of the camp.
It all started with a genuine and noble initiative for locals by the Battalion wherein it facilitated the treatment of three patients from Banihal in the months of Mar - Apr 2015 at the Sansthan facility at Udaipur itself. Encouraged by the results, the subsequent step was undertaken for benefit of the large effected population of these far flung areas. |
