JKTWA urges Govt to announce summer vacation from June 1 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: Jammu and Kashmir Teacher Welfare Association (JKTWA) today urged Minister for Education, Information and Culture, Priya Sethi to announce Summer Vacations from June 1in all government, private schools of summer zone. According to press release, association president, Jasmeet Singh Madaan said that due to suddenly rise in temperature in Jammu, it is not possible for students as well as teachers to move out under the scorching sun, so it urges the Minister for Education to announce the holidays in Government schools and change timings in educational offices. "It has been seen that from the current session, timings in many Government offices particularly in educational offices like ZEO office/CEO office has been fixed10 AM to 4 PM. They further demanded put forth by TWA is the early release of pay of SSA Teachers and RMSA Masters who are reeling under acute financial crisis because of the non-payment of salaries to them for months together. |
