MV International School holds Investiture ceremony

JAMMU, May 25: Keeping up with the thought in mind that MV International School bestows upon its students the ability to be the future leaders of the world, the institution held its Investiture ceremony 2015-16 today. Chairman Hira Lal Abrol has always envisioned that students of MVIS should gain confidence by facing challenges in life. The newly appointed Council Members of MV International School marched in with heads held high, to the beautiful beats of the school band, on the great occasion of Investiture ceremony of the new Office Bearers of the School. The event began with the lighting of the lamp followed by an inspiring speech by the school Principal K L Dogra. The newly appointed Council Members were adorned with sashes and Badges from the Director Gourav Abrol, Aakriti Abrol and the Principal which was followed by the 'Oath Ceremony'. Director Prep. The ceremony was attended by the parents of the council members. Director School, emphasized on the importance of discipline and dignity of the individual, he quoted that 'Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions'. The Head Boy, Vinayak Choudhary, XIIA and Head Girl, Sonia Binotra, XIIA, promised a definite change for the better tomorrow with great conviction in their confident speeches. The perfects chosen for the school council also consists of Sports Captains Bhargav Sharma XII A & Komaljeet Kour XII B, Cultural Captains Vikas Upadhyay XII A & Sandeep Kour XII A, Vice-Head Boy, Udhayveer Singh Slathia XI A, Vice-Head Girl, Tania Kousar XI A, Vice-Sports Captains Amanjeet Singh XI A & Shubharti Choudhary XI B, Vice-Cultural Captains Shivam Slathia XI A & Sunita Manhotra XI A, Discipline Incharges Vanishka Rajput XI A, Amisha Charak VIII A & Lakshita Verma V C, Eco Leaders Janvi Sharma XI B, Gitanjali Verma Rehan VIII B & Punica Choudhary V A, House Captains: Einstein House- Parul Verma XI A, Atish Slathia VIII A, Vanshveer Singh V A, Edison House- Shikha Bandhral XI A, Samriti Slathia VIII A, Haridhika Chadgal V A, Darwin House- Samiksha Sharma XI A, Mehak Rajput VIII A, Kartik Digra V A and Newton House- Tanu Dabgotra XI A, Udhayveer Singh Slathia VIII A, Parishek Mahajan V B.
