Moving freight vehicle catches fire mysteriously 5/27/2015 10:45:25 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 27 : A mysterious fire which broke out in a moving freight vehicle resulted into over 70 % of loss of goods loaded here on Wednesday. The matter is under investigation. Police sources told that the vehicle transporting some articles caught fire while it was passing through a stretch of the National Highway at Raguda falling under the jurisdiction of the Police Station Bagh-e- Bahu. Police sources said that the Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02AS/2938 was its way to Satwari when the incident took place. "The driver of the vehicle namely Subash Chander immediately stopped the vehicle and raised alarm for help, sources said adding, "However, over 70 per cent of the goods were reportedly gutted before Fire and Rescue Services personnel rushed to the spot and managed the blaze under control after an hour long battle.
