| Sopore Killings Separatists, terrorists two faces of same coin | | |

Jammu, May 27: Terrorists killing two innocent civilians in two days in north Kashmir's Sopore area has yet again made it clear to the people that gun wielding terrorists are not their friends and the separatists who beat their chests whenever any civilian is killed by the security forces are paid agents of Pakistan whose job is to keep the pot boiling in Kashmir.
On Monday terrorists attacked a BSNL showroom at Iqbal market Sopore and killed a 25 year old youth Mohammad Rafiq and injured two other men. The deceased used to work as a salesman with BSNL. In yet another attack on Tuesday evening terrorists killed one more civilian Ghulam Hassan Dar at Dooru Sopore. His only fault was that he had rented out a piece of land to the mobile company for installing its tower. Separatists who wait for a chance to call a shutdown and orchestrate a protest if a civilian is killed in forces firing have maintained a "criminal silence" over two innocents being killed by militants. Neither have they made any attempt to reach out to the bereaved families to express condolence with them. They (separatists) who project themselves as so called "Messiahs" of Kashmiris know it very well that if they condemn these killings or make an attempt to reach out to the families of the deceased their masters sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) won't like it, and they may stop the stipend which separatists receive every month.
It's unfortunate that two civilians were killed for no reason and these are senseless killings. The terrorists attacked the BSNL showroom in Sopore to unleash terror and on next day they killed a man who had allowed the mobile company to install a tower in his property just to create fear among the people and to make them understand that they (terrorists) can do anything. Someone needs to ask Kashmiri separatists, who even term an aberration at the hands of security forces as human rights violation, why didn't they call for a shutdown against the killing of Rafiq and Dar despite both of them being Kashmiris. History stands testimony to the fact the separatists, who claim to be the human rights champions, during the past 25 years have never opposed the killings which were carried out by terrorists. Unfortunately many innocent Kashmiris who were killed by terrorists were labeled as "Mukhbirs" (informers) to justify the acts of terrorists. Separatists not reacting to killings carried out by terrorists has exposed them and has proved it beyond doubt that they are Pakistani agents who orchestrate street protests at the behest of their masters sitting across the LoC and patronize terrorists who kill innocent Kashmiris just for the sake of establishing their writ. Had security forces killed two people in two days, separatists would have activated their men across Kashmir and would have ensured that shutdown is enforced to disrupt the normal life. People of Kashmir have realized that separatists are no better than the gun wielding terrorists whose only aim to create disturbance and somehow ensure that peace is shattered. These terrorists know it very well that they cannot take on the soldiers and paramilitary men, if they try to do so they get killed in return. To make their presence felt they have started targeting innocents who want to live in peace and have got nothing to do with separatism and Pakistan. |
