Two bovine smugglers held, five animals rescued | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, May 28: Police today claimed to have foiled bovine smuggling bid with the arrest of two bovine smugglers and rescuing five animals which were being illegally transported. Police have registered case against the two accused. "The accused have been identified namely as Nasib Ali s/o Raham Ali of Bari Bramna Jammu and Amam Din s/o Nur Baksh of Jakh Kathua, police said. Sources said, "on specific information a police party of Police station Chenani intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration no JK21-9826 at National Highway Domal Chenani and during checking of vehicle police found five bovine animals loaded in it while the occupants of vehicle failed to procure documents for transportation of animals. "Both Nasib Ali and Amam Din were arrested on the spot, while Police have registered the case and starts investigation, police said. |
