Reasi, May 28: The department of education Jammu and Kashmir today had distributed aids and appliances to differently abled students during a function organized at Government Boys Higher Secondary School.
According to press release, apparatus, including wheel chairs, tricycles for the students with cerebral palsy and other appliances including hearing aid, were extended to the students. With financial assistance from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), these appliances were being provided to the students under Inclusive Education for the Differently Abled (IED) scheme.
Speaking at the function, Principal of GBHSS MM Khajuria said that the potential in these children should be nurtured and they should be made to flourish like normal persons in the society. |
