Reasi, June 29: Five days long orientation course for different subjects for elementary teachers organised by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Reasi in Arnas and Chinkah zones concluded today. This course was meant for re-orientation to the teachers in all the subjects being taught at elementary level, including Science, Mathematics, languages and Social Sciences. In total 98 teachers participated in this course. Resource persons from DIET and other schools delivered lessons to the participants, clearing their hard spots and also acquainting them with the new techniques of teaching. All the participants took keen interest in this course, praised the programme and desired to organise more programmes of this type in future. Principal DIET- JR Bhardwaj who was the chief guest on the valedictory function while addressing the trainee highlighted the importance of training and advised them to impart the same knowledge to their students' besides maintaining the discipline and punctuality in their duties. Suggesting the teaching community to teach the students in a modern way, he added that only better learning can bring a revolution in the society for which the teachers hold the key.
