Jammu, June 29: A meeting of Aarakshan Virodhi Manch (AVM) Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Ram Pal Seth, President of the Manch.
In the meeting, various problems being faced by the General category people were discussed in length.
Addressing the meeting, Seth termed the recommendations finalized on New-recruitment policy by cabinet Sub-Committee as old wine in new bottle.
He said that constitution of J&K does not permit application of reservation rules and act on adhoc/ contractual appointments.
The committee has recommended two channels for new recruitments under two categories immediate nature posts and normal posts appointments.
Seth condemned the new recruitment policy on the ground that it will create chaos and confusion in deciding promotions and seniority.
He appealed to the government to take one channel for all recruitment and issue SRO regarding their regularizations to avoid uncertainty. |
