Jammu, June 29: PHE Workers Welfare Association today stages protest demonstration under the joint leadership of Bakshi Singh, in which they demanded regularization of daily rated workers.
According to press release, dozens of employess/ workers of PHE department assembled in front of Chief Engineer Office and stages protest demonstration shown their resentment against the sectarian approach of government which has miserably failed to solve the genuine long pending demands of employees and workers.
The demanded Regularization of all sorts of daily rated workers after five years disbursement of wages month wise and clearance of all back long wages of workers.
Meanwhile, Bakshi Singh president of Association has criticized the casual approach and rude behavior of PHE minister who is avoiding the employees problems one pretext to another.
He further alleged that the minister conderned has no time for the workers who have been working round the clock in rough tough conditions in maintaining the water supply. He furthers said that if the anti employees stance of the minister concerned remaind unchanged towards our workers the association will never hesitate further to intensify the agitation. They warned the PHE authority that if the demands of employees are not conceded in a month time our association will repeat the drastic actions.
Rattan Doshi, Surjeet singh, Manzoor Ali, Chain Kumar, chuni Lal, Mohan singh, Babu singh and Rachpaul singh were also present during demonstration. |
