kathua, July 2: A delegation of incharge School Education Officers/ Lecturers Co-ordination Committee (SEO/LCC) led by its provincial President Amar Nath Thakur called on director school education and submitted a memorandum of demands for early redressal of demands of teaching fraternity. The members of delegation during their meeting highlighted the problems being faced by the teaching fraternity which included reminder to all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) Jammu region in regard to non-submission of APR's , format, vacancy position of lecturers and headmasters for the regularization of incharge CEO's, Principals, ZEO's, Lecturers and headmasters as was desired by Commissioner Secretary School Education before May 8 and repatriation of all headmasters and lecturers to their home district, release of salary grants under Non- Plan (earlier district Plan). Other demands raised included adjustments of all promoted I/c lecturers and filling of all vacant posts of headmasters and masters etc. The Director School Education (DSE) Jammu paid a patient hearing to the delegation and assured to consider the demands appropriately. Besides provincial President Amar Nath Thakur, the other member of delegation included Yog Raj Singh Jasrotia, Bansi Lal, Lalit Kumar, Tara Mani, Kuldeep Singh, Subash Chander , Hans Raj and Des Raj. |
