Army conducts Pir Panjal talent hunt

Udhampur, July 02:The Rashtriya Rifles battalion at Samote under the aegis of Force Headquarter based at Reasi, today conducted `Pir Panjal Talent Hunt Competition' for students in coordination with the civil administration.
Around 289 students from 11 schools participated in competitions of various disciplines including singing, painting, recitation and Quiz competition. The event brought to fore the talent amongst the students. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kotranka was declared the overall champions.
The event which was conducted to identify the hidden talent amongst the youth was graced by a large number of officials from the army and civil administration including Sukhpal Singh, SDM Kotranka and Isllah Mohd, Zonal Education Officer, Kotranka. Principals and teachers from all participating schools also attended the event.
