| Announcement of AIIMS for Jammu: As only 17 days left "helpless" BJP ministers seek Sangh's help | | Central leadership has so far shown cold-shoulder response | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 3: As only 17 days have been left before the leadership of BJP to fulfil commitment of getting AIIMS sanctioned for Jammu region, the helpless fear-stricken BJP ministers have approached RSS to intervene to save them from the wrath of people. The helpless BJP Ministers have pinned their hopes only RSS and other organisations of Sangh Parivar for the solution of this problem.
Credible sources in the BJP disclosed that so far Central leadership has given cold shoulder response to the demand of the local unit of BJP to open AIIMS at Jammu. "Central leadership has only given assurance to open one campus of AIIMS at Jammu just as formality to pacify the agitation people of this region but that is also an assurance nothing confirm", sources said and attitude of Central leadership has given sleepless night to BJP ministers because they had promised to get AIIMS sanctioned for Jammu region before July 20 at any cost.
Credible sources said that after getting cold shoulder response from the central leadership the local BJP ministers have reportedly sought help from the RSS to get the issue solved which has potential to snowball into a big political controversy which can rocked PDP-BJP coalition.
"Sangh leadership has so far not shown much enthusiasm to intervene in the matter because Sangh was not involved when Governor's address was finalized by the coalition government", sources said and added that AIIMS for Kashmir Valley was announced for Kashmir Valley in the Governor's address which was finalized after three rounds of discussions among all Cabinet ministers.
The over-confident BJP leadership had not realized at that time that sanctioning of AIIMS for Kashmir Valley would became a mass movement in Jammu region. After two successive bandh and over-whelming response being received by the AIIMS Coordination Committee has given sleepless nights to the BJP leadership in Jammu and Kashmir. The "big-headed" BJP leaders and Ministers, who had written off Coordination Committee as failed organisation, have ultimately realized that peoples' power in more importance than any other power in the democracy.
