Early Times Report

Srinagar, July 4: At a time when former RAW chief A S Dulat continues to throw bombshells on mainstream politicians and Kashmiri separatists, NC is yet to react to his revelations about Dr Farooq Abdullah while separatists are reacting angrily to the revelations made against them.
Dulat, in his second interview in two consecutive days with national TV Channels, continued to allege that NC Patron Farooq Abdullah and Separatists enjoyed favours from intelligence bureau in the past. NC is yet to react on his revelations while separatists for the second day today reacted angrily over his remarks about Hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani and united Jihad Council chairmain Salah-ud-din.
Dulat alleged that it was Farooq Abdullah, then Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir who on the behest of united Jihad Council chairmain Salah-ud-din had helped his son to allegedly get a medical seat in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dulat claimed that during the infamous Kandhar Highjack of 1999 "then government decided to release three militants namely Mushtaq Zargar, Maulana Masood Azhar and Omar Syed Sheikh, and it was then Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah protested against the decision taken by higher ups and was of opinion to neutralise the militants in Amritsar only."
Dulat also said that when former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee despite assuring to offer Vice President's post to Farooq Abdullah when later reneged on promise, Farooq Abdullah as always having doubts about New Delhi said that "New Delhi never fulfills promise".
Pertinently while as Farooq Abdullah is in London these days once again in connection with his health issues,However there was no reaction from neither from Omar Abdullah nor from NC leadership.
While terming the revelations of Dulat about Separatist leaders as a "bundle of lies" Hardliner faction of separatists said that "PDP was never creation of Syed Ali Shah Geelani as was claimed by Dulat in his interview.
Geelani's Faction also said that "the baseless and fabricated allegations which Dulat has levelled against Salah-ud-Din to get favours for his son from intelligence Bureau Chief through Farooq Abdullah, "the explanation in this regard by his son Dr Abdul Wahid clearly indicate that the memory and the mental condition of Dulat has weakened with his growing age and he is now airing such news which has no relation with the reality." Pertinently A.S Dulat also alleged that moderate ideology Separatist leader,Mirwaiz Umar Farooq "could be roped up in Mainstream Politics and added that "Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is one such leader among separatists politicians who could be roped into the mainstream, but "he (Mirwaiz) is a scared person and fears for his life."
