Replace corrupt zonal officers, JTC urges upon Relief Commissioner 7/4/2015 11:31:19 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 4 : President Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front Shadi Lal Pandita today urged upon Relief Commissioner to replace corrupt zonal officers posted at various zones. According to press release, a meeting was held here today under the Presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita, speaking on the occasion he said that since Slip Books have not yet been issued in favour of the migrant relief holders they have been facing difficulties in procuring monthly ration items. "Pandita has made an appeal to the worthy Relief Commissioner RK Pandita for allowing the relief holders to procure ration items against the counter foil slips of the Ration books of 2014, as seven months of current year have already elapsed", he said, adding that it has been said in the meeting that some corrupt zonal officers, are serving in Relief Orgaization having got over due stay in this organisation as such it has been demanded that such corrupt Zonal Officers, as well as other Ministerial Staff of different zones be replaced by new honest faces to stream line the working of the Relief organization besides curbing corrupt practices prevailing in the Relief Organisation. The participants during the meeting have said that an amount of Rs. 10,000/- as cash assistance relief is not sufficient to meet the day to day domestic requirements of a family as such have demanded that the cash assistants and Ration these need to be checked and cancelled immediately and the savings from the cancelled fradulent Ration Cards be diverted towards enhancement of the Cash Assistance relief to genuine relief holders. Meanwhile Pandita expressed grave concern over the interrrupted water supply to the Jagti Camp.
