Jammu, July 5: Raman Joshi, the cultural officer in Information Department against whom a lady officer had lodged the complaint of mental harassment and levelled other serious charges, including his adamancy to clear the bills of different cultural programmes on Independence Day and G P Fund cases, today said that he had submitted the report to the inquiry officer in this connection.
In the inquiry report submitted to the Joint Director Information, he said that there was no intention to torture or put mental stress on the lady officer at the workplace and added that to ensure discipline he was taking stringent measures.
He however, felt sorry for the unintentional circumstances which had led to make the applicant feel mentally stressed.
Regarding GP fund and bill clearance, he said that being Drawing and Disbursing Officer, it is his duty to be sure about the genuineness of the bills especially where there was information about preparing some fake bills. |
