Jammu, July 5 : A delegation of All J&K Plus-2 Lectures' Forum led by its president Kiranjeet Kour called on Minister of State for Education, Culture and Public relation Priya Sethi and submitted a memorandum today. To bring the grievances faced by Plus 2 cadre through the memorandum highlighting therein the immediate issues such as non-drawl of salary of some members of cadre for couple of months who are suffering a lot. Delegation discussed in detail on the proposal Draft of transfer policy. Besides the benefit of running grade to Plus 2 lecturers like others in the pre revised pay scale of 8000-13500 as per SRO 225, regularisation of all in charge incumbents, non vocational status to Principals, revival of 40% college quota was also discussed. The minister was kind enough to assure the delegation that their grievances, other issues along with a new transfer policy shall be accented priority. Apart from introduction of newly elected body of the forum, overall scenario of Plus 2 component of school education was discussed with minister who gave a patient hearings to the delegation, the forum hailed the steps initiated by Minister of Education Nayeem Akhter and Priya Sethi, MOS for Education with an aim to ensure amelioration of school education in the state,the forum offered to work relentlessly for contributing its best in these efforts. The prominent amongst the present were N.S.Jamwal, Charan Dass, Talib Hussain, Dr.Sushma, Dr Satbir Gupta, Deepak Sharma, RS Salathia, Tarsem Singh, Jyoti Sarup, Kashmir Singh, Ajmer Singh, Anil Kumar Sharma, Pardeep Singh and Sanjay Bhagat. |
