Farooq's foster son death row: Three held

Jammu, July 6: Gandhi Nagar police today arrested three persons who allegedly escaped to neighbouring state after a road accident wherein foster son of Farooq Khan retired IGP was killed in the month of December last year.
Police identified the arrested as Akshit Ganju, his father RC Ganju and Janmeet Singh Sudan.
Police sources said that after the direction of court Special Investigation Team (SIT) speeded up the investigation and arrested three persons.
Sources said that both Akhsit Ganju and his friend Janmeet escaped to the Punjab state after the mishap and also took away the damaged BMW which was later seized by the SIT.
"Father of the Akshit was also arrested as he allegedly helped them to escape in Punjab", said police sources adding that the complainant in this case also alleged that the all the accused tried to destroy evidences in the case.
SP North SK Chouhan confirmed the arrest and said that further investigation is on.
