Minor girl recovered from Mumbai, kidnapper held 7/27/2015 11:32:59 PM Early Times Report Anantnag, July 27: The Dooru police today recovered the minor girl from Mumbai, who was abducted by a driver about two weeks ago. The alleged kidnapper was also arrested. The accused has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Dar (35) of Adabal, Dooru. Police said the accused had allegedly kidnapped an 11th class student when she was on way to her school in Kreeri Nowpora locality of Dooru Anantnag before Eid-ul-Fiter festival. "After registering a missing report, a special team was constituted, which used latest technology to locate the kidnapped girl and the kidnapper," a police officer said. He said the kidnapper was arrested by police party yesterday from Mumbai and the minor girl was also recovered from his possession. "Police team along with the girl and accused is on way to Dooru from Mumbai and is expected to reach tomorrow evening," he added.
