Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: The new website of Directorate General of Recruiting,www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, was launched by Lt Gen Philip Campose, Vice Chief of Army Staff. The enrolment for Officers entry (less UPSC entries) and recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) / Other Ranks (OR) entry in the Indian Army will go online. Based on schedules planned, online applications will now be invited onwww.joinindianarmy.nic.in for all officers' entries, less than UPSC and departmental entries. Candidates can "check their eligibility" on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and can apply online for the chosen /eligible career options in the Indian Army. For "on-line applications", candidates are advised to carry : Education qualification certificates including matriculation certificate, Personal details, including permanent address with PIN number, Verification / domicile certificate, personal valid e-mail ID and personal mobile number. This can be opened in any personal computer with internet facility, cyber cafe, Central Govt / State Govt "kiosk" like the Central Government Common Services Centre (CSC) "kiosk". Special kiosks at Army Recruitment Organisations (AROs) and Zonal Recruitment Offices (ZROs) will also be available for online registration / provide assistance to candidates. Touts and agents have no role to play and candidates are advised not to be lured by such agents/agencies. |
