Heena Sharma gets selected for prestigious ARS 7/30/2015 11:52:31 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, July 30: A local girl from the town has brought laurels for Kathua as she was selected for prestigious Agriculture Research Services (ARS) as a scientist by the Agriculture Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB). Dr Heena Sharma, daughter of Ved Parkash Sharma of Ward No 1 PWD Colony, Kathua completed her BVSC&AH in 2010 from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Jammu as one of the top rankers in her batch. She has also qualified ICAR JRF (2010) examination securing 6th rank and got admission in India's most prestigious institute Indian Veterinary Research Institute in Division of Live Stock Products Technology (LPT). While pursuing MVSC, she qualified ICAR NET, UGC JRF and ICAR SRF examinations. Currently she is in Final Semester of Ph D at IVRI. From the very beginning she was focused and worked very hard to achieve this esteemed post.
