Irate over power cuts locals protests against PDD 7/31/2015 12:00:49 AM Early Times Report Udhampur July 30: Irritated over the unscheduled power cuts in village Kashirha of Udhampur district local people of Kashirha held a protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) in front of Office of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur here today. According to reports, a large number of locals of Kashirha village assembled outside the office of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur and staged protest demonstration to highlight their demand. Led by Sarpanch of Kashirha Ram Paul the protestors warned the authorities to improve the power situation or be ready to face a prolonged agitation. Amid slogans against PDD authorities, they alleged the unscheduled prolonged power curtailments are affecting their daily life.
